This video concerns about the way technology and media are affecting teenagers' life. My students from 1G are thus kindly requested to express their personal oipinion on this delicate current topic.
Please follow these questions as guidelines and ask just one or two of them to say whether:
- Do you think technology can help you make friends? If yes, how?
- Do you spend much time on social media?
- Do you follow some rules when you surf the net?
- Are you aware of the risks coming from a misuse or abuse of technology?
4) Yes, usually those who abuse technology become dependent on it as in the case of some young people with social networks, developing real pathologies even at a nervous level. I personally can control myself and make moderate use of it.

As far as I'm concerned, I think internet browsing can make us know new people, but they can have negative goals. For this reason I think I am quite aware of the risks that derive from an online abuse, so I always try to protect my privacy.

Surfing the internet many times can involve very serious risks, some adolescents underestimate the negative consequences that can occur after hours of navigation. I don't use a lot of internet or websites because I think that being on the internet a lot, friendships are gradually being destroyed and that relationships between people tend to decrease.

I think that social network, if these are used correctly, can be useful to better understand our peers, or make new friends. Social should be used regular self control without exaggerate, and a very important thing is to be careful of other users, because not all of them are real and maybe we think that a user is a boy of our age, instead he turns out to be a person adult and very often with bad intentions.
